Human emotions change spontaneously, but sometimes we can deduce a pattern. More often than not it’s a cycle, which is seen most clearly through creative work. Abandoning brightness again, Kai Engel creates pressure, whether it’s a powerful crescendo or flowing ambiance. The sound is diverse, and each track has its place and theme, probably telling a separate story. One thing for sure: there’s not a moment on 'Written in Ink' where the mood is compromised. Some albums are darker than others.

I distinctly remember the feeling of booting up the game for the first time. I'd seen all the vlogs on Austin's channel, and listened to the music up to Cernos on the album, but I had no real context until starting to play the game. The second I saw the ivy covered title frame, I felt my blood run cold with ice, skin and hair raised, breath taken in anticipation of the journey that was about to come.
